Cookie Policy
The short version
- On wolfstack.io we use browser storage to remember your language and theme, and Google Analytics to count visits.
- We don't use cookies for targeted advertising, and we don't sell or share information collected through them.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser and opt out of Google Analytics.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, save information in your browser too. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
2. What we use on wolfstack.io
| Type | What it does | Examples | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Preferences | Remembers your language and light or dark theme. | wl-lang, ws-theme (local storage) | Until you clear your browser data |
| Sign-in | Keeps you signed in to dashboards and onboarding pages. | Storage set by our sign-in provider | Until you sign out |
| Analytics | Counts visits and shows which pages are useful (Google Analytics). | _ga, _ga_<ID> | Up to 2 years |
| Campaign source | Remembers which link brought you here (for example, a Facebook post or a blog article) so we know which of our posts work. Saved with your request only if you send a form. | ws_ft, ws_lt | 90 days |
3. Cookies on specific pages
Some pages load tools from other companies, which may set their own cookies under their own policies:
- Payments: Stripe, on its secure checkout pages.
- Scheduling: Cal.com, when you book a call.
- Address search: Google Maps Platform, when you look up your business during onboarding.
4. The AI assistant
The assistant on websites we run doesn't use cookies. It saves a random session identifier in the browser's session storage, and keeps the conversation in the page's memory; both disappear when you close the tab. Messages are sent to our servers to generate replies, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
5. Websites we run for our clients
Websites we build for businesses may use technologies like these. Each business may show its own cookie notice and is responsible for its choice of analytics or advertising tools.
6. Your choices
- Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser. If you do, the site will forget your language and theme, and you may need to sign in again.
- Google Analytics. Install Google's opt-out browser add-on to stop Analytics from collecting your visits on any website.
- Privacy signals. We don't sell or share information collected through cookies, so there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. If that changes, we'll honor it. We don't currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals.
7. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when the tools we use change and show the new date at the top.
